Mmm, what a yummy twist on a classic recipe! Who doesn’t remember having Rice Krispy Treats as a child (or even as adults – let’s be real)? Now this recipe gives that original recipe an extra boost! I think I’m going to start experimenting with these “gourmet” Rice Krispy Treats! Keep checking my blog for some updates 😉
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 10-ounce package of marshmallows
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 5 cups Rice Krispies
- Spray a 9x9 baking pan with cooking spray (or oil).
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter completely. Add in the marshmallows and stir with a rubber spatula until they are melted. Add in the peanut butter and chocolate chips and stir until melted and combined well. Add in the Rice Krispies and mix until completely combined.
- Press mixture into the baking pan and cool completely. Once cooled, cut & serve!
